Impact of Migration, Gender Roles and Family Relations – Research Paper

This paper focuses on impact of migration, gender roles and family relations in the South Asian diaspora. It discusses two films - The Namesake and Brick Lane - to discuss concepts of arranged marriages, belonging, diasporic women, class and migration.



Critical Film Review – South Asian Diaspora Studies

This film review is based on two South Asian diaspora films - Mississippi Masala and East is East - which explores topics of belonging, nationhood, generational differences, cultural confusion and identity.
